AQUAVITAL CARBON is a high-quality activated carbon made from high-quality coal. Due to the special grain shape, AQUAVITAL CARBON is very resistant to mechanical stress and has a very low fine dust content. The individual activated carbon pellets are very hard and compact. The optimized pore structure ensures an exceptionally high adsorption capacity.

AQUAVITAL CARBON adsorbs ozone, organic pollutants, dyes, active pharmaceutical ingredients. A brown or yellow discoloration of the aquarium water will disappear completely within a few hours. AQUAVITAL CARBON is pH neutral and, unlike many other activated carbons, does not lead to phosphate load in the aquarium water.
