Anubias on driftwood medium ​

Anubias is a very strong and especially easy to keep plant for the center of the aquarium. A major advantage of this plant is that their leaves are very stiff and are not eaten by fish. The Anubias barteri is a very strong and flexible plant that requires little care and adapts easily.

Regarding care, it is useful to know that the plant likes the shade of slightly larger plants. When the anubias gets too much light, its growth is inhibited. When you plant it, make sure that the rhizome is not covered by sand or gravel. It is important to only place the roots in a solid surface. It is also possible to attach the anubias to stone or wood with a fine wire or aquarium glue. The plant is also easy to propagate by cutting its rhizome. It is important that you have 3 leaves on each cutting from a new cutting, so that new roots will be formed quickly.
