The Cryptocoryne undulata is a very easy plant to keep. The plant grows even without soil fertilizer and little light, but then the growth is very slow and the height of the plant increases. It is best to use a good breeding ground, as with the other Cryptocoryne species. When planted in nutrient-rich substrate and provided with sufficient light, the growth rate increases, but the plants will remain smaller. It is not necessary to fertilize this plant with CO2. Due to its compact growth, it should not be planted too densely.
