Micranthemum Unbrosum

Micranthemum umbrosum is originally from the US and grows there in small streams and pools. The plant is above water for half of the year and underwater for the other half. The plant can therefore easily handle both conditions.

Micranthemum umbrosum is an aquarium plant that is very easy to keep. The basic requirements for the aquarium are: good lighting, sufficient nutrients and CO2.

The plant is ideal as a middle zone plant and can only be used as a foreground plant if a lot of light can be provided to the plant. In a lot of light the plant remains lower. By regularly pruning the plant it will become fuller. The water should also not be too hot.
