Is a variant of the Microsorium pteropus with narrow leaves. The narrow leaf places the same demands on its environment as the normal Java fern. However, the Microsorium narrow leaf remains a lot smaller than the normal Java fern and is therefore also suitable for smaller aquariums.
The rhizome of this plant must remain above the substrate (gravel, sand). If it is buried it can rot.
