The special shape of each plastic filter element prevents the individual elements from sliding into each other and thus ensures that the filter material is used optimally and that full flow remains possible during operation.
The special structure of the plastic provides support for useful bacteria and therefore enables rapid colonization (overgrowth) with the bacteria that are so important for biological purification. On the other hand, dead bacterial growth is simply washed out of the material, so that an optimal biology is always present in the filter.
Aquavital Polyfil is easy to wash out and can therefore be used again and again. Aquavital Polyfil is suitable for use in all types of internal and external filters. The filter material is made of a high-quality, chemically neutral plastic that does not affect the water values of the aquarium or pond water (such as hardness and pH value).
