Rotala colorata Compared to "standard" R. rotundifolia, this Rotala takes on a particularly intensive light red to orange-red color, especially when it is under good lighting. The leaves are narrow in a straight line. The stems have an arching to horizontal growth habit and form dense bushes because they branch easily, just like Rotala sp. "Green", that is always light green. Rotala sp. 'Colorata' is a good combination partner for this. In strong light it develops a beautiful red color.
